THE CRIMINAL LAW MEASURES AGAINST THE LEGAL PERSONS UNDER CURRENT CRIMINAL CODE OF UKRAINE

Abstract
The current Criminal Code of Ukraine for the first time provides for criminal law measures against legal persons. The stated measures form an independent special subsystem of the «other criminal law consequences». Legislating of the measures under criminal law for legal persons was caused by the need to conform to international legal acts of native criminal legislation. These measures are a special kind of the state reaction, apply only to the legal person in the case of its committing by an authorized person on behalf and for the benefit of a legal person of an offense, an exhaustive list of which is enshrined in Art. 963 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, not related to the implementation of criminal responsibility and are an alternative to punishment.
