The Definition and Prediction of Stress Analysis of Plates with Elliptic Hole by Artificial Neural Networks
Journal Title: Gazi Üniversitesi Fen Bilimleri Dergisi Part C: Tasarım ve Teknoloji - Year 2016, Vol 4, Issue 3
Abstract
In this study, maximum tensile stress values on plates with elliptic hole which are exposed to tensile strength have been calculated. These calculations have been modelled by Artificial Neural Networks (ANN). Besides, finite elements analysis has been modelled and investigated using Ansys software. Emprical, FEA and ANN results were compared and shown on graphics and tables. Loads (1000N, 2000N, 3000N, 4000N, 5000N, 10000N, 15000N, 20000N) and Young’s Modulus (52500MPa, 70000MPa, 105000MPa, 210000MPa) values have been assumed as parametric inputs. Ansys results were taken under different mesh sizes on plates. All results were shown on charts and images.
