THE DERIVATION OF PHRASEOLOGISMUS OF LEO TOLSTOY AS A PART OF HIS EPISTOLARY INDIVIDUAL STYLE

Abstract
The derivation of phraseologisms of Leo Tolstoy is a part of his epistolary individual style The chamber phraseology occupies a special place among the individual formations of Leo Tolstoy. It is formed in connection with the needs of the moment, which arises in the course of some situation and reflects the whole moral-psychological picture. Chamber phraseology appears stylistical and expressive means. Representing an «absolute concentration» of thought, it takes up as social and ethical observations and conclusions of the writer. The article is devoted to the status of the chamber phraseology in modern linguistics. Particular attention is paid to the mechanisms of its formation. In addition, the author reveals its place, role, and function in the epistolary individual style of Leo Tolstoy.
