THE DERIVATION OF THE DIFFERENTIAL EQUATION OF TRANSVERSE OSCILLATIONS OF THE HINGED-AND-TUBE PIPE WITH THE FLUID FLOWING INSIDE IT

Abstract

In connection with the development of oil and gas, the problem of safe transportation of oil and gas products through pipelines is of paramount importance. The safe transportation of liquid and gaseous cargoes by pipelines is determined by a number of technological and structural factors, conditions of operation of pipelines and mode of movement of cargoes. In this paper, the problem of finding a mathematical model describes the movement of a liquid in a pipeline under certain conditions. In the first approximation, the instruction problem is convenient to solve using the mathematical apparatus of the variational calculus dealing with so-called functionalities. By function, we under-stand a certain integral of a complex function, the kind of which we know. The task of the variational calculation is to compile such a differential equation to satisfy this function. The resulting equation will have the property that the function that is its solution, draws this functional to a minimum or maximum.
