THE DEVELOPMENT OF A COMPREHENSIVE METHODOLOGY FOR THE CERTIFICATION OF QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS OF MEDICAL INSTITUTIONS IN ACCORDANCE WITH ISO 9001 DSTU: 2009

Abstract

Dynamics of increase in health spending is dominated by the dynamics of economic growth, thus reducing the number of health professionals in relation to the number of patients and the number of payers of insurance premiums based on the amount of health care services. At the same time, patient quality requirements of medical services are constantly increasing. One of the main ways of solving this problem is the introduction of a system of standards to improve the quality of medical services. With the introduction of market relations in the health issues of quality of care is becoming more and more important. The quality of medical services is one of the most important in modern health care. Integrative approach to standardization as a major, innovative factor of health care reform in Ukraine is of particular importance. Imperfections introduced mechanisms to evaluate the quality of health care in Ukraine, the lack of evidence-based national methodology in conducting quality management system certification of medical institutions in the field of health, as well as approaches to its development, implementation and support of functioning at various levels of government, it has led to the need for this study, defined its goals and objectives.
