THE DIRECT OBJECT IN ENGLISH AND ROMANIAN
Journal Title: Studii de Gramatica Contrastiva - Year 2012, Vol 18, Issue 18
Abstract
The paper aims at revealing some of the distinctive features of the direct object in both English and Romanian. Comparing the various kinds of complex direct objects in English, we realize they provide a great amount of differences from Romanian. On the other hand, the direct object in Romanian can be double-realized by means of co-referential units.
