The Effect of Work-Family Life Conflicts of Social Workers on Job Burnout: Sivas Example

Abstract
This study aims to examine the effect of work-family life conflicts on job burnout levels of employees. The research was carried out in the institutions and organizations affiliated to the Sivas Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services. Correlational survey model was used in the present study. 147 female and 107 male employees between the ages of 22-57 participated in the study. The average age of the employees is 35.96±8.59 years. In the study, personal information form, Work-Family Life Conflict Scale and Maslach Burnout Scale were used. It was used online survey technique in the research. The research data were examined by Multiple Linear Regression Analysis. According to the findings, there is a significant positive relationship between work-family conflict and family-work conflict and job burnout. The work-family conflict sub-dimension explains job burnout at a significant level. The findings were interpreted within the framework of the literature
