THE ELECTROLYTIC SYSTEM PROTECTING A TURNING TOOL AGAINST TRIBOLOGIC WEAR

Journal Title: Tribologia - Year 2009, Vol 226, Issue 4

Abstract

To protect the tribologic wear of a turning tool an additional electrolytic circuit with controlled electrochemical processes was applied. The conditions of the work of the controlled electrolytic system with the depositing of the low frictional coating are discussed. The parameters of the work of the electrolytic system were defined in investigations of linear, constant-current voltammetry. The use of the independent electrolytic system allows for the enlargement of the period of the exploitation of the turning tool, for the set of technological synergism coefficients.
