THE EVALUATION AND TREATMENT OF SCOLIOSIS AND KYPHOSIS

Abstract
The medical field has to solve some very severe conditions: organic or psychic deficiencies which must benefit of hospitalization or medical ambulatory treatment, the intervention of the specialised physicians. The deficiencies at the level of the spine appear at people in the contemporary period as effect of their professional activity and the unhealthy lifestyle. Scoliosis is a deficiency of the spine in frontal plan, where normally there should not by any curve. It can present one, two or even more curves. Kyphosis, a deficiency of the spine, is defined as being an exaggeration of the curve with convexity oriented posterior and the inversions of curves of the cervical and lumbar segments of the spine. The correction of deficiencies at the level of the spine, besides the fact that it has generally according to the degree, a long recuperation, it also presents a large range of helping therapy which can be used with high efficiency in the recuperation such as: massage, electro-therapy, hydro-therapy and the most important the physical exercises achieved individually or with the help of the kinetotherapist.
