THE FEATURES OF USING AUDIOVISUAL METHOD IN LEARNING A FOREIGN LANGUAGE IN A MULTINATIONAL AUDIENCE

Abstract
The article deals with the audiovisual method as one of the effective methods of mastering foreign oral speech. It shows specificity of this method and its place in contemporary methodology. The article highlights the actual issues of using modern audio basic approaches in methodology of teaching foreign languages. This method creates conditions of acquirements of oral speech competence. Nowadays teachers can work with the students who come from different countries. The task is to avoid using their mother tongue. Audiovisual method creates the atmosphere where students can communicate with each other. The main features and the peculiarities of using this method in educational process are considered. The author reveals the methodological principles of audiovisual method, considers the stages of work with students, and analyzes the system of exercises for its practical use.
