THE GENESIS OF THE LEGAL REGULATION OF LEAVE TO TAKE CARE OF A CHILD BEFORE REACHING THE AGE OF THREE

Abstract
The formation of the legal regulation of the leave for the child care until the age of three in Ukraine has been investi- gated. The current legislation of Ukraine in the part of legal provision of such kind of leave is analyzed. The discrepancy of labor legislation in this area with the general principles of legal regulation of social relations and labor relations in particular was revealed. In order to create and ensure equal opportunities for the child’s father or other family members who are actually caring for her, it is proposed to amend the legislation of Ukraine on labor.
