The historical backgrounds of formation and development of Lugansk diocese of Ukrainian Counciled-Episcopal Church (1925-1939)

Abstract

In the proposed article examines the historical background of the formation and development of the Luhansk diocese of Ukrainian Counciled-Episcopal Church. It is detected the contradictions of confession accessory of the diocese. In example of a particular region it is proved the concerted effort of the Soviet totalitarian system to a complete destruction of religious institutions in spite of the proclaimed standards of religious law. It is analyzed the course of church-institualisational processes on the territory of Lugansk region in the interwar period.
