THE IMPORTANCE OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL ASPECTS OF THE ASSOCIATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN UKRAINE AND THE EU AS THE BASIS OF SAFETY

Abstract
In Ukraine recognized that national security is directly related to the conservation of the environment and rational use of natural resources. Constitution of Ukraine and the Law of Ukraine "On National Security of Ukraine" determined that the priority interest of the state is to ensure the life and health of citizens and society. The author focuses on the fact that in reality we are faced with not observance these principles, especially in the field of environmental protection. The article analyzed in detail the environmental aspects of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union. An important element of cooperation in the field of environmental protection is the gradual approx-imation of Ukraine to policy and law of EU. The author emphasizes the fact that environmental protection are not a priority in the state policy Ukraine. Their ignored when making of important decisions in favor of economic, financial and other interests. This approach to public government can lead to fatal consequences for citizens and Ukraine as a whole, because most immediate envi-ronmental problems are not solved at all. Is necessary implement of the environmental aspects of the agreement to urgently that will ensure the establish-ment of a new foundation of state ecological policy, that will be based on values of sustainable development. The author defined main directions of the environmental component of the Agreement, which will have social and economic benefits.
