THE INFLUENCE OF COGNITIVE PSYCHIC PROCESSES ON THE QUALITY OF STUDENTS’ MASTERING OF THE BASIS OF THE SCIENTIFIC ORGANIZATION OF MENTAL LABOR

Abstract

A theoretical analysis of the problem of the impact of the scientific organization of mental work of students over the preservation of health and working capacity in the process of educational activity has been carrid out in this article. The attention is drawn to the complexity and energy intensity of mental labor. The necessity of rational organization of mental work of students is substantiated. According to the analysis of scientific literature a variety of views is stated on the problem of scientific organization of labor. It is noted that a variety of views on the problem of scientific organization of labor on the basis of the analysis of scientific literature. It has been found out that the scientific organization of mental work of the student is an organization of labor which based on the basic provisions of pedagogy, psychology, physiology in relation to the requirements for the student’s educational activity, taking into account the possibilities and age features of the organism. The author of the article points out that the concept of "scientific organization of labor" includes both external (proper working conditions, organization of the workplace, determination of the procedure of execution), and internal motives of activity (ability to quickly become involved in work, to perform its unobstructed, volitional skills). It is highlighted that the effectiveness of the armament of students by knowledge for the scientific organization of mental work depends not only on the teacher’s teaching skills, but also on the level of development of psychological cognitive resources of students. Features are defined and the patterns are revealed of such psychic processes as feelings, perceptions, attention, memory, representation, thinking and speech. The attention is focused on the fact that feelings are the only channels that supply information to the mind; the level of development of perception affects the ability to effectively learn; memory resource allows the student to use the accumulated information in practice. In order to successfully master the knowledge about the scientific organization of work, in the opinion of the author, every student should know the peculiarities of his own memory and try to develop it. Thinking is equally important resource in educational and mental work, which always involves solving the problems that arise. It is emphasized that imagination favors for the increase in the volume of productive activity, and for improving the efficiency of mental labor, which allows students to act consciously, creatively and independently, and not mechanically copy the processes of educational activity. Attention allows the student to perceive and process any information, in particular educational, directs and focuses the consciousness of the individual on individual objects. It is compared with a thermometer, which makes it possible to draw conclusions about the correctness of the organization of training. The author summarizes that from the level of formation psychic cognitive resources that was considered in the article the rationality of the mental work of the individual depends on, because the student get tired not because he learns a lot, but because he performs mental work ineptly.
