THE INSERTION OF INTERACTIVE MATHEMATICS IN THE CLASSROOM PEDAGOGICAL PROJECT AWAKENS A LOOK TOWARDS THE STEAM MODEL

Abstract
The interactive Mathematics in the pedagogical project, developed by CENAMEC, in the UEN Dr. Juan Pablo Rojas Paúl, located in Río Caribe, Arismendi municipality of Sucre State, is an initiative that looks towards the STEAM model. The use of this tool develops skills to promote science education, starting from mathematics through transversality and in an interdisciplinary way, linking knowledge of science, technology, engineering and art. Allowing students to take advantage of knowledge in an experiential way and with practical utility. Mathematics is action-reflection to develop new abilities, it allows addressing issues from criticism, argumentation, theory and practice; putting them on the job.
