THE INSTRUMENTS FOR AUTOMATIZED IDENTIFICATION OF SEPARATIST AND PROPAGANDA CONTENT FOR USE IN EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS

Abstract

The article deals with the role of a separatist and propaganda content in conducting the information war. The Internet media and social networks are directly used by the enemy as a weapon of destruction of the public concsience, for spreading propaganda and fake information that are skillfully transformed into a viral content and successfully perform their set task. Despite the age-old history of propaganda and studies on this issue by leading scholars, it is rather difficult to detect propagandistic special operations and specific media and materials, since the ideological nature of such issues usually allows the researcher to blame the conductors of propaganda for subjectivity and their own interest in obtaining certain conclusions. Using content analysis the propaganda media in Ukrainian internet were identified. The quantitative content analysis of 30 the most popular Ukrainian Internet media showed that only 11 of them have the word markers used in a positive context, which may denote the duplication of their propaganda rhetoric. The presence of all three markers of the content analysis was recorded in such media as «RIA Novosti Ukraine», «Correspondent», «Segodnya», «Vesti». Also the article deals with the importance of the development and implementation in the educational institutions the tools for protecting children and youth from dangerous content on the Internet. The criteria for developing software for preventing and protecting children and youth from dangerous content were offered. Particular attention is drawn to the solving an important problem of the lack of effective mechanisms for a combating aggressive manifestations in terms of a hybrid war. that threatens the national security and territorial integrity. The influence on propaganda media activity under the conditions of a hybrid war is a necessary step on behalf of the state to counteract aggressive manifestations, including the information field, and protecting children and youth in the educational institutions from separatist and propaganda content.
