THE KILIYA MUNICIPAL COUNCIL AND ITS ACTIVITIES IN THE FIELD OF MUNICIPAL ECONOMY AND TRADE IN 1882–1917 YEARS

Abstract
The article is devoted to Kiliya city government and its activities. In the article we investigate the Kilia municipal Council and its activities in the field of municipal economy and trade in 1882–1917. We give the names of mayors and the Board of public utilities in 1882–1883, 1885, 1893, 1897, 1899, 1901–1903, 1903, 1907, 1911–1914, 1916 years. The article reveals that the women’s participation in the elections was a rare event in the life not only provincial but also the capital cities of the Russian Empire. We present the list of positions in the municipal and executive Council: Secretary, accountant, examiner fees, the Registrar, heads of business, military and passport offices, city technician that is different from directions of work of municipal Council. It is established that the city had two fairs.
