THE LEVEL OF SPIRITUAL HEALTH OF STUDENTS AS FACTOR OF PREPARATION TO THE TEACHING OF DISCIPLINES OF VALELOLOGICAL INTEGRITY

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the level of spiritual health and spiritual balance of masters students who have undergone several years of educational training, and as a result, their readiness to teach the basics of health in schools and higher education institutions. The motivation and healthy way of life of a person, that is, personal conviction and the need for it, can be formed on the condition of studying spirituality, morality, general culture, intelligence and psycho-physiological characteristics of a particular person and system education. The future teacher, in the first place, should have the spiritual and moral potential that could become the decisive factor in creating the appropriate atmosphere of the educational process, the effective influence of spiritual and moral education on the further development of youth. Spiritual and moral upbringing of students is one of the top-priority tasks of a higher educational institution. Studies conducted at the valeology department on the questionnaire "Definition of the level of spiritual health" (G. S. Nikiforov) showed that students who studied a number of special disciplines aimed at raising the level of spirituality and moral and psychological growth have high levels of level spiritual health and spiritual balance. The existence of the purpose and meaning of human life, beliefs, traits of character, ability to creativity were used as indicators of spiritual health. A person possessing such qualities is, to a much higher degree, ready to teach valeological orientations and to introduce the ideology of a healthy lifestyle into public consciousness.
