THE LINGUISTIC PRINCIPLES OF THE FORMATION OF THE LEXICAL-NATIONALISTIC COMPETENCE OF THE FUTURE TEACHER OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Abstract

The article deals with the linguistic principles of the formation of the lexical-nationalistic competence of the future teacher of elementary school. The opinions of scholars on the necessity and relevance of the formation of the lexical-ethnographic, speech, lexico-semantic competence of the future teacher of elementary school in higher educational institutions are analyzed. The content of the concepts “competence”, “competence”, “vocabulary”, “lexical-ethnographic competence of the future teacher of elementary school is revealed”. The pedagogical theory and practice is conditioned by the necessity and expediency of interpreting the model of a specialist as a person who has a certain set of competences and is able to successfully adapt to constantly changing conditions of life, to compete in the labor market. The question of competence approach in modern education is becoming more and more relevant nowadays, because the core task of realizing this direction is the formation of competence. The main task of the teacher-translator is not only to incite interest in learning the native language as a way of communication, but also to demonstrate the greatness and beauty of the native word. The study of the native language should start with “the return of the genetic memory of the people”, because through the assimilation of the native language “the child learns the world, formed as a personality, as a citizen of Ukraine”. The implementation of the specified tasks contributes to the realization of the ethnographic component. It is this that opens the knowledge of himself as a representative of the Ukrainian nation, its people, its history, culture. Given this, the professional training of the elementary school teacher needs to be improved, which, with the optimal ratio of philological, psychological and pedagogical disciplines, should contribute to the formation of the lexical-ethnographic competence of a teacher who is aware of his belonging to the Ukrainian people, customs and traditions.
