The managerial competence of the modern leader in the socially-oriented paradigm of public administration

Abstract
The article is devoted to the analysis of the social component of the managerial competence of a modern public manager. The study applied the methods of diagnosis “Methods of diagnosis of the orientation of the individual” B. Bass, “Methods for determining the style of leadership team” V.P. Zakharov, A.L. Zhuravlev. The results of the study of managerial competence of public sector managers are presented. The influence of the orientation of the manager’s personality on the formation of management style in the context of the formation of a socially-oriented culture of public administration is analyzed. The study revealed the need for a targeted formation of a socially-oriented component of managerial competence in order to increase the efficiency of the public administration authorities.
