The networking interaction model in the development of VET in the European Union countries

Abstract

The model of network interaction in the development of VET in the EU countries is grounded. It is determined that the different level interaction at the individual and institutional level is considered to be one of the most effective tools to develop the VET systems in the EU countries. The concept  of “interaction in the development of the VET systems in the EU countries” is defined as a kind      of interaction between the components aimed at solving common problems; it manifests itself in their joined coordinated activity and leads to a qualitative change of the system comparing with the initial state. It is clarified that the content of the stakeholders’ networking in the VET system is an agreed activity of network subjects to ensure a high level of quality, accessibility and effectiveness of educational services, which is conducted in the common distributed activity (mutual learning, methodical and educational designing, project activity, expertise, comparative case studies, common events organising, etc.). It is grounded that networking in the VET development in the EU countries is based on the systems principle, principle of synergy, continuity, project-based, innovative project interaction, diversity, and polycentrism.
