Spiritual and moral targeting younger generation in the philosophical schools of ancient China

Abstract

Pchycho-pedagogical landscapes for the younger generation’s inner-mental guidance in philosophical schools of Ancient China of chouzhskiy period (6-4 century B.C.) in the context of strategic tasks the Ukrainian society is facing on forming a highly spiritual and morally-orientated personality. Following the example of Ancient China we represent the specific model of a philosophical school that determined spiritual life parameters of chouzhskiy period China for long time. It describes the Confucius’ model of a decent man, noble, generous, high-minded tsziun-tszi, and also a teacher-tutor’s role in forming a valued part of a student’s view of life. Confucian ethics aims and tasks are represented via Men-tszi’s thesis about «a man’s untaught kindness», Siyun-tszi’s rationalism (as a historical “deposit”) for dealing with the youngsters’ value-guidance formation. The historical heritage significance has been proved (by the example of the Middle Kingdom philosophical schools), that serves as an innovative retro-integration (as a ideas inheritance sources for modern school). The Confucian education system connection with spiritual and moral determinants is shown. A personality’s spiritual-moral value component formation way in the Lao-Tzu, Men-Tzu, Syuk- Tzu philosophical schools is introduced in accordance with the postulated Tsun-Tzu models. The theoretical concepts content introduced by philosophers into the educational process are described. The ancient Chinese sages applied social consciousness mechanisms are manifested in social memory and social thinking. It is shown that the internally self-conscious ancient Chinese philosopher and sage in the philosophical school offered us own adequately and fruitfully fulfilled mission on shaping the youth’s valuable essence...
