The peculiarities of the effects of herbal preparations on the functional state of intestine during the treatment of patients with constipation

Abstract
The analysis has been performed for the literature data as regards the medicinal herbs Operculina turpethum, Indian Gooseberry (Emblica officinalis), Cassia fistula, common licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra), which are the components of the dietary supplement EasyDo. Effects of this preparation include not only laxative action, but also a wide spectrum of the positive pharmacotherapeutic effect, resulting in the improvement of functional state of intestine, decrease of the inflammatory process and intoxication.
