The photostability of poly (lactic acid) / polyacrylates composites as new materials for the packaging industry
Journal Title: CHEMIK nauka-technika-rynek - Year 2015, Vol 69, Issue 5
Abstract
Composite films of poly (lactic acid) (PLA) with polyacrylates of varying composition and proportions of the components were obtained by photochemical reaction. The aim of the study was to investigate composites photostability in laboratory conditions using Suntest apparatus, equipped with Xenon lamp simulating sunlight. Increase of photostability composites containing cross-linked polyacrylate relative to the pure PLA was showed by infrared spectroscopic analysis of the samples.
