THE PROBLEM OF PART OF SPEECH CHARACTERISTIC OF UKRAINIAN ABSTRACT VOCABULARY

Abstract
The article is dedicated to the important problem in studying abstract vocabulary of the Ukrainian language, that consists of only nouns implication during the study of this group of words. The subject of the article is peculiarities of meanings of words that belong to other different parts of speech (verb, adjective, adverb, pronoun, preposition, conjunction).The methodology of investigation bases on the theory of Anna Ufimtseva that is connected with principles of separation abstract words from the words with concrete meaning. According to this theory every word has different correlation between signification and denotation aspects of its meaning. If the word has denotation or denotatical-signification meaning, we can classify such lexical unit as a word with concrete meaning. If the word has signification or significational-denotation meaning, we classify it as an abstract lexical unit. Scientific innovation of investigation is related with detection of signification character of meaning between some words from class of verb, adjective, adverb, pronoun, preposition, conjunction. That is why it is possible to include such lexical units while studying abstract vocabulary of the Ukrainian language. In this way the article shows some perspectives in investigation of this group of words.
