THE PROHIBITION OF AGGRESSION AS THE IMPERATIVE NORMS OF JUS COGENS

Abstract
The article examines and analyzes the theories of recognition by the states of the imperative norms of jus cogens, the provisions of the UN Charter on the principles of international law, in particular the principle of the prohibition of aggression, and their original purpose, is parallel to the provisions of the UN General Assembly Resolution 3314 on the definition of the term “aggression” with the practice of the International Court of Justice UN on its direct application.
