THE ROLE OF STRATEGIC COMPETENCE IN PROFESSIONAL TRAINING OF FUTURE PHILOLOGY TEACHERS

Abstract
The article deals with defining the role of strategic competence in professional philological training. Special attention is placed at stages of communicative activity and corresponding strategies. The author describes the application of success and compensation strategies in the process of foreign language acquisition. We prove the necessity of forming the strategic competence in professional training of future philology teachers.
