THE ROLE OF THE OTTOMAN EMPIRE IN 1848/49 HUNGARIAN INDEPENDENCE MOVEMENT

Abstract
Hungarian independence movements XIX. In the beginning of the century, he progressed through the process. During and after the revolutions of 1848 the Hungarians entered into a struggle for independence for their freedom. This nation, which was left homeless by suppressing the struggles by the Austrian empire, looking for remedies by taking refuge in the Ottoman state and this situation revealed the issue of refugees in the Ottoman empire. Austrian and Russia demanded the return of asylum seekers from the Ottoman, but the Ottoman government did not approve of it. The problem of Hungarian refugees has caused an international diplomatic crisis between the Ottoman state and Austria and Russia. However, the Ottoman state has helped this nation, which has taken refuge in itself, and contributed to the enlightenment of their dark future by providing services in important missions.
