THE USE OF FRANCHISING IN FINANCING THE OPERATIONS OF FUEL CONCERNS

Abstract
The turbulent environment forces the managers of companies seeking the most effective ways of doing things. To achieve this goal, we should seek to diversify risk and use of various sources of financing. One way of doing business, meeting the set criteria, is franchising. Size franchise chainsoperating in Poland, measured by the number of units is very diverse: from giants such as grocery chains in the systems, which include a few or a dozen individuals. The aim of the presented material is an indication of the use of franchising in the fuel market. Franchising is becoming an increasingly popular solution for the retail distribution market fuels. While the total number of fuel stations in Poland has been steadily declining, the number of facilities operating under franchise systems is growing rapidly.
