Theoretical and methodological principles of the functionality in the modern legal science.

Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of understanding of functionality in modern legal science. The essence of the concepts of “function” and “functioning” is revealed. The author analyzes the correlation of the legal nature of functions and functionality. The main methodological approaches to the study of functionality in legal science are considered.
