Theoretical aspects of definition corruption as a socio-political one phenomena

Abstract
The historical origins of the phenomenon of corruption on the territory of Ukraine shows that at all times Ukrainians were characterized by corruption in one form or another and always provided for certain precautions and punishments by the current authorities regarding its bias and punishment of the perpetrators. The theoretical basis for the study of the concept of corruption within theframework of political and legal discourse suggests the lack of a unified understanding of its essence among scholars, due to the multifaceted nature of this socio-political phenomenon and the diversity of approaches to its study. In particular, scholars distinguish several approaches to analyze and interpret the corruption as a social phenomenon. They are political, economic, legal and integrated approaches. Legislation of Ukraine has undergone some evolution in defining the term “corruption” in legislative acts and is currently evidence of compliance with the political and legal approach to its content.
