THEORETICAL ASPECTS OF DESIGNING TEXTBOOK NEW FORMAT

Abstract

This article considers the problem of designing an educational tool for high school the new format. Based on the analysis of works on educational theory of the book describes the structural components of the textbook – text and extra-textual components, their functions and new approaches to their design for a new paradigm of higher education. Describes the main requirements to the design of the texts components of the, namely, the observance of the General didactic principles, the specifi cs of the discipline, taking into account the characteristic of the text (logical presentation of material, the complexity and diffi culty of the text, style). Described in detail the structure of extra-textual components of the textbook. Proposed new format of the textbook -a printed version with hyperlinks as thumbnails (the variant extra-textual components), which are activated in its electronic counterparties multimedia support different levels of interactivity for the effective organization of learning activities of students.
