Abstract
The present paper is a description of terminological instrumentarium of contemporary English phraseology in the framework of interdisciplinary studies. The author addresses the concept of “the phraseological worldview” in terms of its justified introduction and application in linguistic theory, cultural linguistics and phraseology in particular. For this purpose, main differential features of the phraseological worldview are under analysis: universalism, anthropocentricity, expressiveness, deontic, axiological and emotive modality, simplicity, and inaccuracy.
