Abstract
(The Good, the Bad and the Journalist. Review of Tamás Tófalvy: The Birth of Digital Good and Bad) The review analyses Tamás Tófalvy’s book entitled The Birth of Digital Good and Bad. The evolution ofTechnology, Culture and Journalism in the 20th Century. The book is posing provocative questions concerning the latest evolution of journalism, mostly the role of online journalism. It also gives an alternate cultural history of the digital media focusing on the question: did technology alone cause the changes in the journalistic practice, or was it infl uenced by the way people tend to think about technology?
