Transakcje insiderów a ceny akcji spółek notowanych na Giełdzie Papierów Wartościowych w Warszawie S.A.

Abstract
Obecność spółki na giełdzie to nie tylko prestiż i źródło kapitału, ale także obowiązki nakładane na emitentów. Jednym z nich jest obowiązek przekazywania i aktualizowania istotnych informacji dotyczących spółki. Dotyczy on nie tylko samego przedsiębiorstwa, ale także osób blisko z nim związanych (np. członków organów zarządzających, nadzorczych, prokurentów) – tzw. insiderów. Są oni obowiązani do informowania KNF oraz emitenta o dokonanych transakcjach na akcjach spółki. Celem pracy jest analiza wpływu takich komunikatów na ceny akcji przedsiębiorstwa giełdowego przy wykorzystaniu metody event studies. Badaniu poddane zostały spółki notowane na Giełdzie Papierów Wartościowych w Warszawie S.A. wchodzące w skład indeksu WIG. Okres badawczy obejmuje rok 2012.
