Transformation of foreign policy Germany in connection with the crisis in Ukraine
Journal Title: Politicus - Year 2017, Vol 4, Issue
Abstract
The Ukrainian crisis has become the starting point for the transformation of Germany’s foreign policy and Ukrainian-German relations. The gross violation of international law in the unlawful accession of Crimea to Russia, the military conflict in the East of Ukraine and the destruction of the MH17 forced Germany to abandon the usual policy of careful observation and took leadership in conflict resolution.
