ТРИ ПРАЗЬКІ УГОДИ ЯК СПРОБИ ВИРІШЕННЯ СЛОВАЦЬКОГО ПИТАННЯ В ЧЕХОСЛОВАЦЬКІЙ РЕСПУБЛІЦІ (1945-1946 рр.)

Abstract
The article covers the contents of the three Prague Agreements, through which the central government tried to solve the Slovak issue in the Czechoslovak Republic in 1945-1946. The author proves that the contents of the Prague Agreements corresponded to the interests of the Prague authorities, who tried at all costs to eliminate the special position of Slovakia in the state. As a result, the three Prague Agreements not only ruined the idea of the federal system of Czechoslovakia, which was supposed to guarantee preservation of identity of the Slovak people, but also initiated the process of liquidation of the elements of Slovakia’s self-government and marked the transition from equal relations between the Czechs and the Slovaks to unequal ones with the domination of the Czech people. The conclusion of the three Prague agreements did not lead to the solution of the Slovak national issue in Czechoslovakia.
