Typical mistakes in the diagnosis and treatment of diabetes mellitus

Abstract
The lecture describes in detail the typical mistakes and difficulties of therapy with methodologies of their correction that are made both from the side of physicians and diabetes mellitus patients. The recommendations are presented based on the long-term clinical experience of the authors and data of foreign and domestic experts. The analysis of the most frequent mistakes in diabetes mellitus treatment must assist the improvement of treatment outcomes, prevent the development of complications and improve quality of life of patients. The important task of the analysis of typical mistakes is a necessity to stimulate critical attitude of all participants of curative process toward the patterns and stereotypes that have developed in the medical environment.
