UKRAINIAN ORCHESTRAS IN DEVELOPMENT OF THE INTERNATIONAL MILITARY-MUSICAL FESTIVAL MOVEMENT

Abstract
Among various phenomena of modern culture a special place is taken by the international military2musical festival movement. It is result of many public processes, including integration tendencies 2 formations of commonwealths, blocks, interstate agreements, strengthening of the international educational and cross2cultural exchanges, globalizations of musical communications, and activity of concert management around the world. The Ukrainian orchestras, first of all military ones, from the moment of obtaining independence are directly involved in this process. The most significant feature of the movement is penetrating of non2musical arts in the fiber of shows that enable their attractiveness to spectators. The research demonstrates the participation of Ukrainian bands in military shows of different types. The necessity of dividing the orchestras’ repertoire in parts suitable for a good performance has been underlined. Main tendencies required by managers of these artistic events in the course of time have been revealed. The main Ukrainian orchestras and places of their performances are commented. The article is useful for directors of orchestras, conductors and organizers of concert tours.
