Ukrainian studies in the content of education of the eastern Galychyna between the wars

Abstract
The article highlights the peculiarities of Ukrainian schools in Eastern Galicia in the context of interwar Polish state education policy 1920-1939 years. On the basis of summarizing the historical and theoretical research, analysis, archival documents, publications in journals pedagogical problems outlined ukrainian studies approach to educational content, accented Ukrainian special role education in the nationally conscious Ukrainian, maintaining their identity in terms of assimilation policies, the struggle for national and in Political freedoms. The article is to study the educational policy of the Second Commonwealth, the state of Ukrainian education coverage in Galicia in the interwar period and analysis component of Ukrainian studies content of education appointed period. The methodological foundations of the research are based on the principles of systemicity, historicism, science and integrity. Using historical and chronological method of analysis, synthesis and synthesis allowed to give an appropriate assessment of the processes that influenced the formation and development of Ukrainian education in Western Ukraine in the interwar period, Ukrainian outline the trends in the first third of the twentieth century
