UNIFORM STANDARDS FOR THE ORGANIZATION AND PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITY OF ADVOCACY IN THE LAW OF THE EUROPEAN UNION

Abstract
The article reveals the concept of unified standards for the organization and professional activity of the Bar Association in the law of the European Union. The author of the article defines legal acts, which belong to sources of standards of advocacy; the terms used in the European Union for the description of the lawyer are indicated; the most significant obstacles to the freedom to provide legal services in the European Union are described. The author analyzes different opinions about advocacy and defines the fundamental values of modern advocacy.
