UPDATE OF PROFESSIONAL TRAINING OF FUTURE TEACHERS OF MATHEMATICS IN HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS UNDER MODERN CONDITIONS

Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of the problems of professional training of future mathematics teachers in higher educational institutions in Ukraine. The emphasis is given on the importance of mathematical education in the development of society; the importance of mastering mathematical knowledge and methods of activity for the development of the general personal culture and the achievement of professionalism in pedagogical activity is stated. The essence and signs of professionalism of the teacher of mathematics are found out. It has been revealed that professional training and professional development of mathematics teachers in the future will provide qualified pedagogical activity. It is generalized that the update of the professional training of future mathematics teachers in higher educational institutions should ensure their continuing professional development and professionalism in the educational sphere in prospect.
