Abstract
The author discusses chronologically various forms of teaching the auxiliary sciences of history at the Charles University in Prague from 2nd half 18th century to modern times. The article is a comprehensive presentation of the centuries-old evolution of the problem with highlighting the breakthrough moments and related with them lecturers. Much attention was devoted to the diversity of the auxiliary sciences of history.
