Abstract
Wood sector in economic classifications of goods - domestic and international approach. The article presents the subject of economic classification of goods. The paper covers international, European and domestic classifications, that is: CPC – Central Product Classification, CPA - Classification of Products by Activity and PKWiU – Polish Classification of Goods and Services. A short characterization of these standardizations has been presented. Particularly, attention has been paid to the wood sector which comprises the following industries: wood, pulp and paper and furniture. Documents acquired from the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs Statistics Divisions, European Commission as well as information contained in the ordinance by the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Poland were the primary source of research material.
