Wpływ menedżerów średniego szczebla na budowanie relacji interpersonalnych pracowników

Abstract

The article presents a problem of middle managers’ influence on employee relationships creation at work. On the basis of literature as well as empirical research we analyse associations between selected manifestations of middle managers’ attitudes and elements of positive employee relationships at work. The study shows and proves the significance of the role that is played by middle managers in the process of employee relationships building in an organization, particularly in comparison with top managers. Furthermore, the analysis demonstrates a specific “contagiousness” of positive relationships at work: a type of manager–subordinate relationship is projected on relationships among employees.
