WYBRANE ASPEKTY SŁUŻBY SANITARNO-MEDYCZNEJ I ICH ZNACZENIE W POWSTANIU WIELKOPOLSKIM

Abstract
Służba sanitarno-medyczna była zorganizowaną jednostką działającą podczas walk powstańczych, powstałą jeszcze przed wybuchem powstania. Lekarze i farmaceuci tworzyli grupę społeczną bardzo zaangażowaną w odzyskanie niepodległości. Racjonalnie gospodarując dostępnymi środkami, udzielali pomocy zarówno na froncie, jak i w miastach. Stosując zorganizowaną taktykę ewakuacji i leczenia rannych, przyczynili się do zmniejszenia śmiertelności oraz skracali czas leczenia pacjentów.Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie wybranych aspektów z działalności tej służby i podkreślenie jej dużego wkładu w powodzenie powstania.
