YENİLENEBİLİR ENERJİ POTANSİYELİ VE ETKİLERİ: BAYBURT ÖRNEĞİ

Abstract
Yenilenebilir enerji kaynaklarının yerel ekonomik büyüme ve kalkınmadaki öneminden hareketle yapılan bu çalışmada, Bayburt İli’nin sosyo-ekonomik göstergeleri kısaca verildikten sonra, Bayburt’un yenilenebilir enerji potansiyeli ve bu potansiyelin uygulamalı literatüründeki gelişmeler doğrultusunda kullanılmasının yerel ekonomik kalkınmayı nasıl etkileyebileceği incelenecektir. Tanımsal analizler kullanılmasında, söz konusu ilde yenilenebilir enerji kaynaklarına ilişkin veri ve uygulamalı çalışma bulunmaması etkili olmuştur. Çalışma, Bayburt ili için öncü bir çalışma olması sebebiyle literatüre katkı yapmayı amaçlamaktadır. Yenilenebilir enerji kaynakları açısından Bayburt’un güneş, hidrolik ve biyokütle potansiyelinin olduğu, rüzgâr, jeotermal ve diğer yenilenebilir enerji kaynaklarının potansiyelinin olmadığı anlaşılmaktadır. Potansiyeli olan kaynaklardan güneş enerjisinden elektrik üretiminin 4.00 MW ve hidroelektrik üretiminin ise 5.027 MW olduğu anlaşılmaktadır.
