Abstract
The current, dynamic development of electric energy storage devices such as lithium-ion batteries and supercapacitors allows their widespread use in electric traction. In this article, consideration was given to the possibility of liquidating intersections in the tramway traction network and crossing the tram by crossing with the use of an energy reservoir. Three possible configurations of the reservoir were considered – a lithium-ion battery, a supercapacitor and a hybrid container using both technologies. The analysis covered the costs of the bins, their mass and durability of the proposed solutions.
