A contemporary teacher in view of the problems related to in-class listening to music (based on the author’s experience and research)

Abstract
The article is mainly based on the author’s experience and her research conducted amongpupils, students of pedagogical faculties and music teachers. The research findings displayboth young people’s dislike for the music offered by syllabuses and teachers’ problems withpresenting art music in an unfavorable contemporary acoustic environment. The conclusionsdrawn from the research are connected with the teachers’ training designed to meet currenteducational needs.
