A PERSPECTIVE ON CSR STRATEGY PRACTICE IN ROMANIA

Abstract
Responsible companies are those developing business opportunities, by transforming social and environmental activities in core components of their business model. Building on the CSR practices, principles and requirements used to underpin sustainable development, this article provides insights into the CSR practices used by large companies operating in Romania. The qualitative case study methodology developed relies on 84 responses of the CSR representatives of the companies operating on the Romanian market. The research instrument used for collecting data is the semi-structured interview. The purpose of this paper is to provide insights into the CSR practices and the way turnover, being a family-owned company and listed company influence CSR practices and the advantages perceived.
